BAFTA AWARDS: Stars opt for subtle jewels to accompany solidarity dresscode

Continuity to stand against Hollywood’s sexual abuse scandal, stars wore subtle diamond to accompany their black attire at this year’s British Academy Film Awards.

On the red carpet at the Royal Albert Hall, the majority of guests wore diamond jewellery to allow their black outfits to do the talking at the 71st edition of the awards ceremony.

Angelina Jolie and Kate Middleton were among the start to still wear statement gems, with Jolie showcasing a large pair of Graff Diamond earrings and the Duchess of Cambridge pairing her dark green dress with emerald and diamonds.
